    Infrastructure for upcoming paid features. Smart Match, match reason badges, and Lobby Boost purchase will be premium post-beta. During beta, everyone has full access.

  • Referral rewards roadmap

    Track your referral tier (Connector → Recruiter → Squad Leader → Captain → Commander → Ambassador) and earned rewards in a dedicated Rewards page.

  • Lobby Boost vouchers

    Activate on your lobby to boost visibility in Smart Match for 4 hours (+10 scoring). Earned through referral tiers — choose when and where to use them.

  • Referral tier badges

    Gaming-rarity colored badges on your profile showing your referral tier: gray (Common) → green (Uncommon) → blue (Rare) → purple (Epic) → orange (Legendary) → gold (Mythic).

  • Invite sharing page

    Personalized /invite/[username] page with your avatar, games, and trust tier. Discord and Telegram show rich OG previews when you share the link.

  • Referral trigger notifications

    Smart prompts to invite friends: after your first match, when creating a solo lobby, and when you’re close to the next referral tier.

  • Friends page invite banner

    See how many friends are online and share your invite link directly from the friends page.

Improvements

  • Settings consolidated

    Reorganized from 12 tabs to 7 focused sections: Profile, Games, Templates, Preferences, Referrals, Privacy, Account. Wider 6-column layout matching other pages.

  • Lobby status badges

    Activity dots replaced with clear text badges: +1 Needed, 2 Left, Live, Stacked, New, Open, Still Open. Easier to spot which lobbies need players.

  • Match reasons on All Lobbies

    Match reason badges (Your Game, Friend Inside, Rank Match, etc.) now show on the All Lobbies tab too — not just Smart Match. Up to 3 per card.

  • Referral link format

    Cleaner invite links: /invite/[username] instead of /join?ref=CODE. Easier to share and looks better in chat.

  • Invite link routing

    Referral invites moved to /invite/[username] to avoid route conflicts with lobby reservation claims.

  • Settings page layout

    Settings page now matches the width and grid layout of other pages in the app.

  • Reserved slots in lobby badges

    Lobby status badges now correctly account for reserved slots when showing “+1 Needed” or “2 Left”.

  • Online presence — see who’s live

    Green dots now appear on lobby members, chat threads, friend suggestions, and play history. Powered by Redis real-time presence so the status updates instantly.

  • Confirmation dialogs that match the app

    Cancel a lobby, end a match, delete a template, or block a player — you now see a polished neomorphic dialog instead of the browser’s default pop-up.

  • Connection status banner

    A thin banner at the top tells you when the connection drops and auto-dismisses when you’re back online. No more silent disconnects.

  • Interactive feature demos

    A new /features page lets you try Browse & Join, Quick Join, Create Lobby, Ready Check, Friend Invite, and Direct Messages in scripted interactive demos.

  • Dynamic game-specific filters

    Lobby filters now adapt to the selected game — CS2 shows maps and modes, Dota 2 shows roles and regions — with conditional fields that appear only when relevant.

  • Gamification signals

    WPA indicator, match reasons explaining why a lobby fits you, and post-match teammate rating feedback — the first steps toward a full progression system.

  • WebSocket stability overhaul

    Full real-time audit: per-user rate limiting, circuit breaker for slow clients, message idempotency, graceful shutdown with drain, max 3 connections per user, and protocol versioning.

  • Motion system hardened for accessibility

    Every animation now respects prefers-reduced-motion. Shimmer skeletons, GPU-composited keyframes, scoped transitions, and dynamic tab indicators replace the old Framer Motion sprawl.

  • CI/CD and observability

    All GitHub Actions pinned to commit SHAs, immutable image tags, automated rollback on health-check failure. Loki + Promtail for centralized logging, runbooks for every alert.

  • 1 350+ tests (up from 178)

    Frontend coverage jumped from 5% to 78%. Backend service coverage reached 81%. Every core flow now has unit, component, and integration tests.

  • Unified page layout

    All pages (lobbies, friends, invites, notifications, my lobbies) now share the same header style, max-width, and spacing — the app feels cohesive.

  • Adaptive and responsive polish

    62 responsive bugs fixed across 31 files. iOS auto-zoom eliminated, touch targets meet 44px minimum, and safe-area insets are respected everywhere.

  • Security hardening

    HSTS + Permissions-Policy headers, build-time env validation, cookie-only auth (no more Bearer tokens), input validation tightened across every endpoint.

  • WebSocket reconnect loop

    Fixed a hub bug where evicted stale clients triggered offline presence and metrics, causing an endless reconnect cycle and the “Back online” banner to flash repeatedly.

  • Double clear button on search

    Search inputs no longer show two × buttons — the native browser one is gone, only the styled one remains.

  • SEO fixes

    Resolved duplicate OG images, auth page canonical leak, and sitemap gaps.

  • Auth error messages

    Login and sign-up errors now show user-friendly messages instead of raw server responses.

    Enable browser push and Stackr will ping you when your lobby fills up, someone joins, or a match starts — even if you're in another tab or your browser is minimized.

    A new Push column in Settings → Notifications lets you pick exactly which events send a push to your browser. Full control, zero spam.

  • Contextual push prompt

    A friendly banner in the notification bell suggests enabling push at the right moment — "Get notified when your lobby fills up." Enable with one click or dismiss.

    Tell Stackr your game, rank, and vibe and it finds the best open lobby for you. No more scrolling — you're in with one click.

    Hold a spot in your lobby for a specific player. Send them an invite link and they claim the slot — no one else can take it.

  • Rank compatibility at a glance

    Every lobby card now shows whether your rank fits the host's range. Green means you're good, yellow means borderline — no more joining just to get kicked.

  • Session length on lobbies

    Hosts can set how long they plan to play. See "~2 hours" or "Quick game" before you commit so you can match your schedule.
